MUCH MORE at Muchmore’s

“On Thursday March 28th, The Hoover Dam Collective presents an intimate evening of music, dance and poetry at Muchmores, one of our new favorite spots. Come drink Korean liquor and admire the venue’s awe-inspiring art installations as you enjoy the croonings of some really fabulous singer songwriters, punctuated by poetry sets and dance performances.”

Cash bar, $5 before 10pm, $7 after 10pm | Bar is 21+, show is all ages.

Love Ain’t Worth A Dam!

Your Favorite Hoover Dam Blog Writer here,

I will literally burst at the seams right now if I don’t get this out. Insert drumroll, fanfare, anticipatory music and plenty of confetti:

THE HOOVER DAM COLLECTIVE HAS REACHED OUR ROCKETHUB DONATION GOAL OF 5000 DOLLARS!

Please look forward to another post – spiffed up with shout-outs as promised – coming soon. For now, I will simply say THANK YOU!!!! (With multiple exclamation points!)

Moving on to matters of the heart….

That’s right, lovers and leavers, the HDC is doing Valentines day the right way: for everyone. Desparate or rebounding single people, couples that are in love, couples that are sick of each other, people who have unrequited love: COME TO OUR SHOW and get your Valentine-y fill with the Hoover Dam Collective.

This show will take place at Spike Hill in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on Valentines Day. 6:30pm! (Don’t forget your flannel.)

To the Doover Ham!

We at the Hoover Dam Collective have been very busy working on our crowdfunding campaign for Rockethub. Currently our campaign is pending, and we’re really excited to share it with you as soon as it’s approved.

In the meantime, I could not resist making this anti-video to share with you all.
